When you register you must have a partner. One name will not hold your spot.
Both partners must be an active CPA member on a current 8-Ball roster.
9-Ball handicaps do not qualify for entry
An "Active CPA Member" means that you must have completed 10 lifetime 8-ball matches 5 of which must be between September and March.

THE SINGLES EVENT HELD @ MASSE'S IN ORANGEVILLE ON NOVEMBER 21st WAS A GREAT SUCCESS!!!
Our summer members had the opportunity to compete on 15 complimentary singles boards bringing the total # of boards for the Summer incentive program to 20....for a total value of $3,360.00.
We would like to thank all who participated & congratulate all our winners...we wish them the best of luck at our Regional Event to be held once again @ Masse's in March.

| 2009 C.P.A. 8-Ball Tournament of Champions

The Canadian Poolplayers Association held it's Annual 8-ball Tournament of Champions on the weekend of May 29,30,& 31.
We feel that this tournament was a great success! We are very proud of the members for the great sportsmanship and class showed by all who was involved and would like to thank and congratulate all the teams who participated in this event.
Their will be 4 teams from this tournament joining more than 600 other teams throughout North America who will be traveling to Las Vegas to play at the Riviera Hotel & Casino, August 24-29 to compete for the National Title and a portion of the $500,000 guaranteed cash & prizes!!
These teams are:
"Those Guys" they participate in weekly league play at the Central Tavern in Walkerton. Team members include:
Kevin Small, James Reuber, Irmgard Kuersten, Mark Lovely, Jeff Laver, John Schaus, Randy Kirkorian, and Sam Lovely.
"Penguins" they participate in weekly play at Masse's in Orangeville. Team members include:
Justin Groen, Rich Groen, John Groen, Dean Smith, Carol Marie Luxton, Jason Friend, Graham Porter, and Kevin Anderson.
"Section 8" they participate in weekly play at Masse's in Orangeville. Team members include:
Debbie Love, Scott Middlehurst, Mike Smith, Mark Leeson, Amanda Walker, Jim McBride, Kim Hurly, and Mark Love.
"Sometime Delinquents" they participate in weekly play at the Bowling Centre in Mount Forest. Team members include:
Jim McArthur, Ken Lehman, Norm Freiburger, Wiliard Ghent, Kila Walster, Archie McEachnie, and Jeff Blakeney.
In addition to the above winners, the C.P.A. also awarded 6 other 4-day getaways to the 4 runner-up teams the 3 Session Apprecation Champions and the Second Chance Board Champions.
The 3 Session Appreciation Tournament Champions are:

APA $600,000 National Team Championships
To be held August 20-29, 2010
Las Vegas, NV.
The culmination of weekly CPA/APA League play is the APA National Team Championships, consisting of three national team competition events:
Open 8-Ball - This event is open to any combination of men and women, with a 1st Place prize of $25,000.
Ladies 8-Ball - This event is open to ladies only and offers a 1st Place prize of $10,000.
Open 9-Ball - This event is open to any combination of men and women, with a 1st Place prize of $15,000.
Competition is played on 3 ½ x 7 - ft. tables, using a modified single elimination format that allows every team the opportunity to play at least twice before being eliminated. All nationally qualified teams receive $350 when they register at the event.
